Since its establishment in 1985, our foundation and the seeds it planted have grown over the years. Today, with 8 campuses in Istanbul and 9 outside the city, we continue to serve the youth of our country, adhering to the fundamental and existential principles of the Republic founded by our eternal leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Under the leadership of our founding president, Mr. Bedrettin Dalan, the first campus of our foundation, İSTEK Semiha Şakir Schools, nurtures individuals from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a safe environment, guided by scientific methods and understanding. Our students grow to be happy, confident, proficient in English, committed to national values, and prepared to meet the responsibilities of being global citizens.
Young people raised with this philosophy go on to become leading business leaders, scientists, athletes, and artists in Turkey. Thanks to the strong bonds among our alumni, students become part of a large family, developing not only academically and professionally but also socially, with a sense of responsibility toward their community.
As a graduate of İSTEK Foundation schools myself, I witness how our alumni network continues to grow alongside thousands of teachers, parents, and students who uphold the values we have never compromised on since the foundation’s establishment. The strong connections between former students, current students, and future graduates will become even more evident to you, our valued parents, as you witness the development of your children.
In the 2019–2020 academic year, our İSTEK Semiha Şakir Schools further increased their student numbers. Our 120 dedicated academic staff are fully prepared to fulfill the foundation’s goals and meet the professional responsibilities of teaching with devotion. Thanks to your support, many of our classes have reached near full capacity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for trusting us with your most precious treasures—your children.
