Throughout the project, students discovered different cultures, traditions, celebrations, emotions, and natural phenomena through engaging, inquiry-based, and technology-enhanced activities. They designed and voted for the project logo, shared autumn traditions, created winter stories and greeting cards, observed weather conditions, planted seeds, and expressed their feelings through poems, drawings, and songs. Students used various digital and AI-supported tools, including Canva, Padlet, ChatterPix, Suno AI, and image-generation applications, to create collaborative products and develop their digital literacy skills.
Our students had the opportunity to meet their international peers several times through online meetings, where they introduced themselves, presented their schools and countries, and communicated in English. Teachers also met regularly online to plan activities, exchange ideas, and coordinate collaborative tasks, ensuring smooth cooperation among all partners.
The project successfully promoted English language learning, creativity, intercultural understanding, teamwork, and responsible use of technology. Parents actively supported the project through home activities and surveys. At the end of the project, students proudly contributed to collaborative presentations, videos, an international friendship poem, and a song, celebrating their achievements as members of a global learning community.
We are very proud of our little explorers for their enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn from and with children across Europe.
